Every year STAR needs a team of the best and brightest to get our productions up and running! In past years we have hired Production Assistants, Musical Directors, Stage Managers, Scenic Designers, and many other positions for all three of our workshops. If you are interested in working with STAR, please email us and we’ll contact you when positions are open!
Interested in gaining some experience backstage? STAR offers many valuable volunteer opportunities! We need people who want to learn about set construction, sound, and lights, run crew, stage make up, costuming, direction, music direction, choreography, and stage management. Volunteer hours are flexible and you can earn Service Learning Hours. Want to learn more? Contact us today with any questions about our Volunteer Program!
STAR wouldn’t be possible without the time and energy of our Volunteer Board Members. Board meetings are only once a month with Summers off. Within our Board, we have several committees that help keep STAR running smoothly. We love hearing new perspectives and ideas from friends in the community and parents of our STAR actors. Consider attending our next Board Meeting and join a fun team creating amazing theatre opportunities for young people!
